Overview
Centero’s ISA100 Wireless SAFE+ Development Kit includes everything needed to develop SIL2 capable and ISA100 Wireless (IEC 62734) certified field instruments. Safety use cases must meet rigorous requirements and performance criteria that exceed those for traditional wireless process automation use cases. The ISA100 Wireless standard was specifically designed to meet safety use cases. The ISA100 Wireless SAFE+ kit is a user-friendly development platform that includes source code for ISA100 Wireless safety instruments and an UNISON Safe gateway. The PROFINET high-side interface in the UNISON Safe gateway provides connectivity to safety controllers while the safety tunneling mechanism extends to the field instruments. It includes pre-configured and fully integrated hardware, firmware and software components.
